Mill Test Certificate / Test Reports / CoC shall accompany along with supplies
The material should be ultrasonically tested †o Class-A(O2mmFBH) asper AMS-STD-2154/AMS 2630 for all †he line items. In case if †he ultrasonic testing compliance is to any equivalent international standards, †he same should be mentioned in the quotations. A copy of such equivalent standard shall accompany the quotations for technical evaluation .Else, †he offers will be liable for rejection.
Supply condition for both the line items:"As forged/hot rolled &ground/machined/ turned and annealed/normalised&temperedcondition.(Suitableforcloseddieforging operation).
i. The bidder should have CEMILAC type approval for the respective line specifications and sizes at the time of submission of their quotations. The copy of the type approvalsfromCEMILACforallthelineitemssuitableformanufactureofforgingsforaeronautical applications shall be enclosed with technical bids. Else, the offers are liable for rejections without further clarifications.
ii. Incase,foranyreasonsthetypeapprovalsarelapsed/expired,biddersshallconfirm to have the type approvals revalidated so as to make it to latest revision/edition before the supply of the materials &the same needs to be indicated in the irrespective quotations
Material specifications and melt# †o be punched/ink printed on all the bars on both end cornersbyusing6mmlettersforalltheline items.
For all the line items, supplies shall be as per latest revision/edition of material specification as on date of UMAC purchase order and suppliers should indicate there vision/edition# of the material in their quotation /invoice for all the line items.
For both thelineitems,materialsshallbesuppliedwithTestCertificates/TestReports / COC /DGAQA release note for use in aeronautical applications & valid type approvals from CEMILAC. Type Approval Certification shall be as per specification of respective line items. Suppliers can quote with alternative specifications/type with type approval or acceptance by air worthiness authorities for production of forgings for aeronautical applications. UMAC reserves the rights to accept/decline the offer based on the Designer‘s comments. The same shall be subject to verification and validation by UMAC Quality Control department.
For all the line items, if MoQ applicable, the same may be indicated by the suppliers in their quotations.
Tolerance on total supply quantity: ±10%oftheRFQquantityforthealllineitems.
