1986 and listed in Korea Trade Associations and Korea Chamber of Commerce, which has been
incorporated for more than 34 years and much experience in Iron & Steel products as the marketing
agent and trading house.
From 1987 until the end of 1997, METCO Co., Ltd. began to export reinforcing deformed steel bars
for South Pacific islands (Guam, Saipan, Palau, Yap, Phonpei) as the agent of Hanbo Steel, Korea
and also exported Korean Rebar to China.. And also during 1990s, METCO Co., Ltd. imported Steel
Billet manufactured by Russian steel mills for Korean re-bar factories in Pohang and Incheon
In the 1995s, METCO Co., Ltd. concentrated on the Middle East countries to export Cold Rolled Steel
Coil for steel drum manufacturers and galvanized steel sheets manufactured by Korean steel mills
such as Dongbu Steel and Hyundai Hysco Steel.
From the 2000s until the end of 2019, METCO Co., Ltd. concentrated on the South America to export
Cold Rolled Steel Coil, Galvanized Steel Coil, and Prepainted Steel Coil produced by steel mills in
Korea, India and China.
From 2009 until 2017, METCO Co., Ltd. concentrated on the Middle East countries such as Iran,
Dubai and Saudi Arabia to export Hot Rolled Steel Coil, Steel Billet, Cold Rolled Steel Coil, H-Section
produced by Korean steel mills such as Posco and Hyundai Steel and I-Beam produced by Tangshan
Steel mills in China
